During the summer of 1969, two men shot for the moon and took one small step for a man, one giant leap for all mankind. The two pioneers were Stan Berliner and Sam Cohen who went on to develop one of the largest law firms in San Jose. Over the past thirty years, Berliner Cohen has grown in size and sophistication with the community around it. Today, Berliner Cohen is a firm of approximately 50 attorneys that occupies some 31,000 square feet at the Ten Almaden Office Building. The firm boasts several prominent alumni including the Honorable John A. Flaherty, the Honorable Conrad L. Rushing and the Honorable Jamie Jacobs-May. Whether the firm consisted of two attorneys in 1969 or 59 today, Berliner Cohen's goal has always remained to be -- "Your Choice of Law Firms."
