Ms. Palazzolo’s litigation practice includes bankruptcy, real estate and general business disputes. Her practice includes representing property owners in partnership dissolution, construction, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and eminent domain actions. She has also achieved highly favorable results for debtors, creditors and trustees in bankruptcy and federal court litigation, including actions relating to preference payments, relief from stay, non-dischargeability, fraudulent transfers, and breach of fiduciary duty claims.

Representative Cases

  • Flores v. Hagobian, et al.
    Successfully defended officers and directors of a defunct company against fraudulent transfer and alter ego allegations in four federal, two state, and two bankruptcy cases, including multiple appeals to the 9th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal
  • Heller v. Smead, et al.
    Successfully avoided foreclosure on a $6,000,000 commercial property and defended against fraud and breach of fiduciary duty claims in state, federal and bankruptcy court, resulting in a successful settlement
  • Shaw v. Peters, et al.
    Successfully defended the owner of a strip mall and its restaurant tenant against Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Unruh Civil Rights Act claims
