Ms. Wilson represents companies in employment and business litigation and provides advice and counsel on a variety of employment matters.

Ms. Wilson has extensive experience in employment matters including: representing companies at administrative hearings, fact finding conferences, and settlement conferences; drafting personnel policies, employee handbooks, settlement agreements, and separation and release agreements; presenting workforce sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation training; and conducting audits to assess exposure to employment related issues.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Wilson worked in employee relations with a large national retailer where she represented the company at administrative proceedings and investigated and responded to administrative charges nationwide before numerous state agencies and various regional Equal Employment Opportunity Commission offices.  In addition, Ms. Wilson drafted settlement, separation, and severance agreements; assisted in the management of employment litigation; and presented employee relations training regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.

In addition to employment law, Ms. Wilson also has experience in commercial real estate law.  Prior to joining Berliner Cohen, Ms. Wilson worked with a large national retailer in the real estate law group where she focused on interpreting and abstracting lease provisions within the company’s domestic and international commercial lease portfolio.
