Mr. Morell’s primary area of practice is commercial real estate law. His practice focuses on a wide variety of matters, including office, retail, and industrial leasing, purchase and sale agreements, real estate secured lending, LLC, joint venture and co-tenancy agreements, and construction contracts. Mr. Morell represents major developers and builders, along with individual real estate investors, in their acquisition, development, and leasing transactions. He also has represented many companies, public and private, as tenants, in the leasing and construction of their corporate facilities, including the headquarters facilities for semiconductor, biotechnology, advertising and grocery companies.

Representative Matters
- Leasing and construction of corporate facilities, including the headquarters facilities for semiconductor, biotechnology, advertising and grocery companies
- In 2001, handled all of the real estate matters involved in the acquisition of the "Seattle Supersonics" basketball franchise by a new owner
- In 2007, represented a private school throughout its acquisition and renovation of a new school facility, using a variety of funding sources, including a $9 million tax advantaged nonprofit corporation bond facility
- In 2007, represented a privately owned timber company throughout its acquisition of a large timber property in the Santa Cruz Mountains
