Berliner Cohen Attorneys Speak at 2011 HR West

Berliner Cohen is pleased to announce that four of its employment law attorneys have been selected to speak at the Northern California Human Resources Association's HR West, April 11-13, 2011, at the Oakland Convention Center.
- Monday, April 11: Christine Long, Berliner Cohen attorney, and Chris Taylor, ADA Compliance Consultants, Inc., will present a session on “ADA Access – Viewing Your Business from the Outside.”
- Tuesday, April 12: Roberta Hayashi, Berliner Cohen attorney and employment group leader, and Kate Wilson, Berliner Cohen attorney, will speak on “California Employment Law Update – New Directions in the Law and Re-directing Workplace Practices in 2011.”
- Wednesday, April 13: Kara Arguello, Berliner Cohen attorney, will present “Managing Performance: Policy Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them,” which includes a mock trial cross-examination of a human resource professional to demonstrate problem areas that employers can face in managing employee performance.
