Christian Picone Named to PACE Board of Directors

The Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE) announced the election of Christian Picone, Berliner Cohen associate, to its 13 member Board of Trustees.  PACE is a regional nonprofit agency providing high quality residential and educational programs for individuals affected by autism and other developmental disorders.  The Board is responsible for the fiscal oversight and governance of the organization and also assists in fundraising, marketing and advocacy efforts.

Board President, Kathleen Knutsen, in announcing Picone’s appointment said, “Christian brings a much needed legal and organizational mindset to PACE at a time when legal decisions at the federal, state and local levels are transforming the special education landscape almost daily.  Coupled with his high energy and passion for PACE, we are proud to have Christian on board to help guide the organization forward. I look forward to working with him during his tenure.”

Christian Picone is a civil and white collar criminal litigation attorney with Berliner Cohen.  Prior to his work with Berliner Cohen, he served as a lead felony prosecutor. Christian holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Drake University. He is an active member of the Santa Clara, California and American Bar Associations.
