Jolie Houston Appointed to California State Bar Public Law Section Executive Commitee

Jolie Houston, Berliner Cohen partner and City Attorney for the City of Los Altos, was appointed to the California State Bar Public Law Section Executive Committee. The term of her appointment is October 2004 through September 2007. In January 2005 Ms. Houston was elected Secretary of the Committee commencing in 2006.
Ms. Houston joined Berliner in 1998. She also is the Assistant Attorney for the City of Gilroy and was formerly a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Santa Clara. In addition to her municipal law practice, Houston practices in the area of land use and public law with an emphasis on municipal law. She has represented clients for city approvals in American Canyon, Campbell, Hillsborough, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Modesto, Napa, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga and Scotts Valley.
