Laura Palazzolo New Silicon Valley Arts Council Board Member

Arts Council Silicon Valley announced the election of Laura Palazzolo, Berliner Cohen associate, to its 20- member Board of Trustees to serve a one-year term.  The Board is responsible for the fiscal oversight and governance of the organization and also assists in fundraising, marketing and advocacy efforts.

Executive Director, Bruce Davis, said in announcing the appointment, “Each new trustee brings with him or her a unique set of skills and experiences that complement the existing board.  We are very pleased to have Laura Palazzolo on our board”.

Ms. Palazzolo is a member of Berliner Cohen’s litigation department, specializing in settling creditor claims in the corporate bankruptcy context.  Ms. Palazzolo also teaches real property classes at a local law school and has had great success in resolving numerous local real estate disputes.  Born and raised in San Jose, Ms. Palazzolo’s ties to Bay Area arts organizations run deep and she is excited to be able to give back to the local community through her service to the Arts Council Silicon Valley.
