Roberta Hayashi Quoted In “Getting Things Done” on New Superior Court Presiding Judge
January 07, 2009
Roberta Hayashi, Berliner Cohen partner and head of the Employment Law group, is quoted in the January 7, 2009, Judicial Profile, “Getting Things Done,” of the San Francisco Daily Journal, regarding The Honorable Jamie Jacobs-May as the new presiding Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge. Judge Jacobs-May’s job is to work with planning teams to decide how the benches would merge, how the civil and criminal courts would be governed, and who would handle which calendars. “It was clear she had such a good feel for court administration and the ability to get the judges sitting around the table to reach a consensus on a lot of difficult issues,” said Hayashi, who worked with Jacobs-May previously at Berliner Cohen.
