SCCBA Appoints Berliner Cohen Attorney as Barristers Chair

The Santa Clara County Bar Association has selected Kate Wilson, Berliner Cohen employment law attorney, as chair of SCCBA’s Barristers Executive Committee. Ms. Wilson previously served as a member of the committee, which includes SCCBA members 36 years of age or under and admitted to practice for less than five years. The Barristers sponsor MCLE programs and host activities for young lawyers. She also participated in the Barristers Leadership program in 2008 – a program designed to prepare future leaders of the SCCBA.
At Berliner Cohen, Ms. Wilson represents companies on employment matters at administrative hearings, fact-finding conferences, and settlement conferences. She assists clients in drafting personnel policies, employee handbooks, settlement agreements, and separation and release agreements. Ms. Wilson provides training in workforce sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation, and conducts audits of workplace policies and procedures.
