The ideal applicant desires to be a zealous advocate, has counseled clients and litigated wage and hour cases, class action cases, and employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters in California. Familiarity with administrative charges, and be familiar with wage laws, leave and compliance matters (FMLA, ADA, wage and hour), policy development, compliance training, and managing pre-litigation disputes.
The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background, a proven track record of strong performance and measurable results, and exceptional communication, analytical, and writing skills. The candidate must also be a current member of the State Bar of California and in good standing.
An employment attorney with at least three years of experience can reasonably expect to start at $190,000; however, actual compensation will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, the candidate's qualifications and experience.

No book of business is required, but it is beneficial. The position would be for a Senior Attorney or Of Counsel, depending on the candidate's experience and background. This position may be in our San Jose or Modesto Office.
The ideal applicants will be able to work independently and manage a case from start to finish with minimal direction and oversight. They must have taken depositions, handled hearings, and been lead counsel on a case. We are seeking a sophisticated Litigation Specialist who bridges the gap between an elite Litigation Secretary and an analytical Paralegal.
