Thomas Murphy, Berliner Cohen Appellate Attorney, is a panelist on the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s “Avoiding Pitfalls on Appeal” program, Friday, October 29, 2010. The panelists will discuss a broad range of topics: seeking review of the right ruling, calculating the correct time limits for noticing an appeal, avoiding sanctions from the appellate court, the effect of post-trial motions on the appellate process, and how to maximize your chances of success in writ proceedings.
