Christine Long Speaks on ADA Accommodations at National Restaurant Association Meeting
Christine Long, Berliner Cohen Employment Law Group Partner, will speak at the National Restaurant Association’s Human Resources and Risk & Safety Managers Executive Study Group meeting on Friday, February 28, 2014, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. The meeting is held at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Coronado, California.
Her presentation, “Successful Models for ADA Accommodations for Employees,” will focus on the do’s and don’ts of workplace accommodation, covering what the law requires and how to communicate with employees requesting accommodations. Participants will learn how to implement preventative processes, about compliance procedures with state and federal laws, and practical application of the law in the workplace.
