When a complaint is made, the clock starts ticking on potential litigation and liability. Therefore, it is imperative that a company handle any internal investigation timely and properly. An internal investigation can be a daunting process if you aren’t armed with the tools you need to conduct the investigation.
This seminar is designed to provide each HR professional with tools that will make the investigation process work for them– not against them.
You will gain a practical approach to conducting workplace investigations; including, how to handle an investigation internally and when to outsource; how to uncover relevant evidence; how to question potential witnesses; how to make and to document findings and recommendations; and the steps to take after the workplace investigation. Attendees will also receive comprehensive overview of the latest laws relating to workplace investigations, and be actively involved in learning the tools necessary to conduct an investigation in compliance with the law.
