Areas of Focus:

Ben Johnson primarily focuses his practice on business litigation, real estate litigation, and trust/estate litigation. He is adept at handling disputes comprehensively, including throughout prelitigation resolution efforts, throughout all stages of litigation from case inception through trial and post-trial proceedings, and through appeal if necessary. Having represented a broad spectrum of clients which range from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, Ben consistently achieves excellent results in matters of varying size, exposure, and complexity.  During each of the past six years (2018-2023), Ben has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by California Super Lawyers® in area of business litigation, a distinction that recognizes top California lawyers in their practice area.

Ben was born in Stockton, California but moved to Modesto at a young age when his father started a small business which specialized in the manufacturing of food processing equipment. Prior to his legal career, Ben served the local agricultural industry by manufacturing equipment used for almond processing and industrial air filtration. Ben is a graduate of Fred C. Beyer High School in Modesto, where he serves as a coach for the school’s mock trial program. Ben is a graduate of the Leadership Modesto Class of 2023 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Community Hospice.

Ben spends most of his free time playing golf and supporting his two young sons in their many activities.
