Cesar B. Tamondong, Jr., ACP, CAS, JD is a paralegal at Berliner Cohen, LLP with over 20 years experience in litigation and e-discovery. He earned his B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Societies and a minor in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law and was appointed in 1993-1994 a California State Assembly Fellow for the Jesse Marvin Unruh California State Assembly Fellowship, one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious legislative fellowship programs.
Outside of work, Cesar enjoys spending time with family, traveling, trying out new restaurants and cooking. He is an avid Bay Area sports fan supporting the University of California Golden Bears, San Francisco Giants, 49ers, San Jose Sharks and Golden State Warriors. Cesar is an active tournament chess player, playing tournaments in the Bay Area, internationally and correspondence (online). In 2025, Cesar won the Central California Open with an undefeated score in his rating section and was recognized by the United States Chess Federation as one of the Top 100 players in correspondence chess in the United States, earning Candidate Master title.
