Isaac D’Amore Nieblas is an associate in Berliner Cohen’s Labor and Employment Law Group.  Isaac earned his Bachelor of Science in Ethnic Studies, Political Science, and Spanish from Santa Clara University and his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Isaac is a trial attorney at heart, dedicated to advocating for his clients in employment disputes, including cases involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations.

Isaac is known for his empathetic yet strategic advocacy, he has secured favorable results for clients across a range of complex employment matters in state and federal court, as well as California Civil Rights Department proceedings.  His background as a former associate at a Plaintiff law firm—where he represented employees in labor and employment litigation—provides him with a unique and balanced perspective that strengthens his representation of employers.  His prior practice also includes civil rights 42 U.S.C. § 1983, trust and estate, and business litigation.

An active member of the legal community, Isaac currently serves as Secretary of the Santa Clara County La Raza Lawyers Association and mentors first-generation undergraduate students.  Fluent in Spanish, he is committed to expanding access to legal services for underserved communities across California.

Personal

  • A proud Arizona native, Isaac is a devoted fan of the state’s sports teams and an avid collector of Phoenix Suns memorabilia.  Isaac is loyal to the Arizona soil and will never jump on the Bay Area bandwagon.
  • In his free time, Isaac enjoys running with his wife or walking his shih tzu around the neighborhood.
