Joe Forgatch is an associate attorney in Berliner Cohen’s Business and Tax group in San Jose. His practice is focused on providing comprehensive legal support to businesses at every stage of their lifecycle, spanning a diverse range of corporate and tax matters. This includes entity structuring, transactional matters, tax compliance, dispute resolution, and client consultation to help businesses remain aligned with regulatory requirements.
With a client-focused approach, Joe collaborates with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives to craft tailored solutions in navigation of complex legal and tax landscapes. Joe brings an understanding of the intersection between corporate and tax law and is dedicated to delivering strategic, results-oriented advice to meet the evolving needs of today’s businesses.
Joe is a Southern California native, that loves family time, skiing, fly fishing, surfing, people, and all things sports.
Prior to joining Berliner Cohen, Joe worked as an area director with the non-profit organization Young Life, where he managed fundraising initiatives, oversaw operating budgets, developed and trained staff, and built meaningful relationships across diverse age groups within the community.
