A Chicago native, Sadiya obtained her law degree at the University of Illinois College of Law. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2012, and the California Bar in 2015.

Sadiya is a legal research and writing attorney. Her prior practice includes legal research support for California Superior Courts, law firms, solo practitioners, and corporations in various areas of law including criminal, tort, and contracts. As a former Staff Attorney at the Santa Clara County Superior Court, Sadiya assisted judicial officers in civil law and motion matters by drafting various bench memos, tentative opinions, and orders.

Sadiya is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Northern California. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking and volunteering at her local soup kitchen.
