Areas of Focus:

Veena Bansal is an associate attorney in Berliner Cohen’s Litigation department. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including business litigation, probate and trust litigation, and other commercial and contractual disputes. Ms. Bansal assists clients in all aspects of litigation, including pre-litigation investigation and resolution, discovery, motions practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. 

Prior to joining Berliner Cohen, she was a staff attorney at a leading housing nonprofit in San Francisco where she defended low-income and indigent tenants at risk of eviction. During her first two and a half years of practice, she first-chaired a one-week bench trial and second-chaired a two-week jury trial in San Francisco Superior Court. Afterwards, she was an associate attorney at a global full-service law firm in San Francisco. Her practice focused on commercial and contractual disputes.
