Andrew Faber, Partner at Berliner Cohen, participated in the panel on “Permitting and Balanced Growth after Koontz,” at the American Bar Association’s Annual Convention, which was held in Boston, August 8-10, 2014. The panel discussion dealt with problems cities face in managing development and growth in light of a recent United States Supreme Court case that redefined the law of takings of private property without just compensation.
