Berliner Cohen Schedules January “Recognizing and Prevention of Sexual Harassment” Training

Berliner Cohen is currently filling a training session for "Recognizing and Prevention of Sexual Harassment" on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, to be held at the firm’s office in San Jose.  See link below for registration. The training is for those who need to make up the training for the compliance year 2013, new managers/supervisors hired, and/or recent employee promotions.  Presented in an interactive and newly updated format, this program is a valuable learning experience for all managers, supervisors and staff in any size business.

As an employer, you are already familiar with California law (AB1825), which became effective in 2005, which mandates that all employers with 50 or more employees provide sexual harassment prevention training for their managers and/or supervisors every two years. It also requires that new managers and supervisors receive the same training within six months after their hire or promotion.
