Susan Bishop, Litigation Attorney, Joins Berliner Cohen

Berliner Cohen welcomes Susan Bishop as Of Counsel to the firm’s litigation practice.  Ms. Bishop joined the firm in August, 2012, and her practice includes working with management of public and private   corporations and nonprofit organizations on issues, including incorporation, employee relations, personnel policies, wage and hour matters, discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination.

She represents clients before State and Federal Courts, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, California Labor Commissioner, Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board.

Ms. Bishop received her J.D. from Santa Clara University of Law in 1996 and her B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1993.  During law school she was a Judicial Extern for Justice Jerome Smith.  She is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court, Northern District of California and the California Court of Appeal.
